Rayne Delaronde
A proud woman of Métis heritage, Rayne Delaronde is one of Manitoba's best upcoming songwriters. Her debut album "Rayne" was produced by Manitoba music legend Clint Dutiaume who also performed as a session musician on the project. Rayne Delaronde is a true singer songwriter who's moving and heartfelt lyrics reflect the varied landscape of her life and many loves. This authentic music is the real thing: a true reflection of the artist's warm heart and deep soul. This Aboriginal songstress originally from Duck Bay, MB Canada, now residing in Winnipeg has been a finalist for her exceptional songwriting and performing at both the 2004 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards in Toronto and the recent 2005 Indian Summer Music Awards in Milwaukee. Her ability to write and sing mainstream alternative country with a rockish blend is opening eyes in the mainstream market and it's only a matter of time before Rayne's music is recorded by mainstream stars. Her first album self titled “Rayne” in 2004 spawned the No.1 hit song “A Little On The Wild Side” on NCI-FM radio and was on the charts for an outstanding 10-1/2 months. Truly remarkable. Her follow-up album “Rayne Too“ is due out next spring 2007.
